Our History
Mobility for Independence was founded in 1987 by Robert Berger, initially sourcing equipment to enhance his own mobility. The range of products sourced focused on vehicle modification equipment.

Over time, the business evolved to one of providing a diverse range of accessibility products designed to enhance the lives of those challenged by mobility. After nearly 20 years at the helm Robert retired in September 2006, at which time Nicki Sumicz became the new owner.

Our Product
The extensive range of products offered whilst vehicle related, includes:-

Standing Frames,Transfer Seating options, Ramps, Scooter and Wheelchair lifts;

Driving Aids- Hand Controls, Left Foot Accelerator pedals, Steering Wheel Spinners- standard and adaptive;
Accessories - hands free Drink Aide drink bottle and Electric Bag Emptier.

Any prices noted on our web site are exclusive of 15% gst and freight charges.

All product carry the manufacturer's warranty- Bruno - 3 years parts & freight; EzAccess - 3 year parts, Milford Person Lift full 12 months and MPS Monarch 5 years parts warranty.
